'Memoirs of a Geisha' Premiere a Star-Studded Event

Los Angeles, CA - Actor Cary Tagawa and his daughter Brynne Tagawa graced the red carpet at the premiere of "Memoirs of a Geisha" held at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.

Tagawa, known for his roles in "Mortal Kombat" and "The Last Samurai," looked dapper in a black tuxedo. His daughter Brynne, a student at the University of Southern California, wore a stunning white gown that complemented her father's attire.

"I'm so proud to be here with my daughter," said Tagawa. "She's a beautiful young woman and I'm so happy for her." Tagawa added that he was excited to see the film, which is based on the best-selling novel by Arthur Golden.

In addition to Brynne, Tagawa has a son, Calen, and another daughter, Cana. He is married to Julie McCullough.

The premiere of "Memoirs of a Geisha" was a star-studded event, with celebrities such as Michelle Yeoh, Gong Li, and Ken Watanabe in attendance. The film, directed by Rob Marshall, tells the story of a young woman who is sold to a geisha house in Japan.

As the premiere concluded, Cary Tagawa and his daughter left the Kodak Theater hand-in-hand, surrounded by the flashing lights of paparazzi. It was a moment that captured the bond between a father and his daughter, as well as the excitement surrounding the release of a highly anticipated film.
